GRE Tubular Lining System

USE installs Glass-Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) liners into new or used tubing and casing to guard against corrosion damage.

GRE has a long history of excellent performance in this application.

The ability of GRE to mitigate the risk of tool damage from aggressive well work is widely recognized, To guard against OD damage.

When cost-effectiveness and work over prevention are central planning strategies, our lining solutions are perfect for tubing and casing in corrosive injection wells, acid gas and salt water disposal wells and corrosive production wells.

Our products are designed to give long term insurance against corrosion damage, matching or exceeding plans of depletion in secondary and tertiary operations and bearing up under rigorous standards for corrosive water disposal systems.

Field Installation

  • USE has a well-trained experienced crew available anytime to supervise the installation of the GRE-lined Tubing in the field as a down-hole strings or flow lines.

  • Our representative will install the C-ring into the coupling and observe the process of making up the connection. He is available to make necessary recommendations to the crew to accommodate special situations (thread wear, inconsistent standoff, etc.). Before the joint is tripped into the well, USE will drift the connection as a final added assurance against over-compression of the ring.
